Dear all,

The mini-symposium of our group division went great, there were a lot of interested people who had great ideas and suggestions! Thanks for your interest and contribution!

Below, you could find some of the slides and photos from the talks of our mini-symposium

  • Anja Fetzer (Uni Tübingen): Mathematikbezogene Lehrveranstaltungen zum Thema Gender und Diversity – Angebote an deutschen Universitäten und Vorstellung eines Praxisbeispiels – Slides
  • Büşra Sert (DLR, Dresden): Die Deutsche Mathematiker*innen-Vereinigung? – Slides
Photos from Ilmenau

If you also gave a talk in the mini-symposium and would like to share your slides here, please send them via the contact form of the website.

After the last DMV and the presentation of Büşra, a small group was
formed with the aim to change the name of the DMV. For that purpose, we
would like to do a survey, which we want to send to all math departments
in Germany. The aim of the survey will be to figure out, how the name of
the DMV affects that people don’t join and if the DMV is perceived as an
open and diverse place.

We would be very happy, if you, as members of the Fachgruppe, could send
us some proposals for questions to include in the survey.

You can send them to  fetzer@math.uni-tuebingen.de.

All the best,

Anja, Sophie and Büşra
